Physical Therapy

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy is a profession, not a modality - it includes a comprehensive system of evaluation, assessment, and treatment performed by a physical therapist.  Physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. (APTA, 2019).
